The Nose

Reading this New Yorker story about the quest for a new scent reminded me about the power of great writing. We talk about stories and our role in them - this is a great example of how a strong narrative can turn anything into gold. I love coming across gems of stories that drag me through them, make me stop what I'm doing and turn pages through to the end. The New Yorker does this regularly, which is why I keep investing in it.
