Robert Unleashed, Signal To Noise Problems Again

The biggest problem we are going to continue to have is the signal to noise ratio. As I’ve noted in previous posts, the wisdom of the crowds ideas ceases to work when a few people get a bullhorn and just pile it on – flame after flame after flame. And boy, is it easier to do sitting at a keyboard than looking someone in the eye. Anyway, here is Robert Scoble, now no longer a Microsoft employee, vigorously defending some folks he knows from personal attacks. I agree – I detest anonymous comments.

is it anonymous comments, or just people anonymously being prats?

There's great value in anonymity sometimes, especially when you're trying to change things in a bad situation.

I think you are the wrong person to be commenting about anonymous posts related to the internal workings at Microsoft given your position. If Microsoft leadership fostered an environment that did not necessitate the need for mini-microsoft and the leadership were more accountable this conversion would not be happening.
