YouTube, Nick Carr and Mark Cuban

Who knows where the truth is  in this series of posts; but they make for a fun read. In general, I don't like this level of anonymous comment, and I'm not sure why Mark would even post, given this preamble:

I cant say this has been fact checked. It hasnt. I cant say its 100 pct accurate, I dont know. But it rings true, and as I said, I trust the source

well, lots of things ring true and end up false. For a variety of reasons, I think Google overpaid for YouTube, and my prediction is that this will be seen as the peak of the web 2.0 boom in the same way that AOL/TW signaled the peak of the previous craziness.

But as Mark says, I can't say this is 100 percent accurate, and it sure hasn't been fact checked. But I do trust the source. ;)
