Last week was a big one for Dave. First, he and Robert had an online debate in the WSJ on innovation and Microsoft -- what I liked was there was as much heat as light. And, while I think Dave is wrong :) he and Robert both were articulate in their arguments, and clearly showed there is room to disagree and still be friends/friendly. This is a lesson for all. Then, the NYT wrote about Dave's meme creation ability, to whit the idea that Web 2.0 is the aftermarket for Google. Dave is as right here as he is wrong on Microsoft innovation...and he shows (yet again) that he can be pretty far ahead of the curve.
