It will be interesting to see if this blows up -- turns out that Wal-Mart was taping phone calls between the company and the NYT. So far, Wal-Mart is doing the right thing -- they fired the employee and sent out a press release. HP, faced with far worse transgressions, covered it up like mad, and that's what got them in the end. PR Rule 1 -- the coverup is always worse than the act that preceded it.
