The WSJ today features the five favorite books about journalism of NPR star Scott Simon. It's a good list. Some day, the ongoing debate about journalism v. blogging will be rendered moot and a memoir of a blogger will easily join this list. Loved the quote from Ben Hecht here -- as true today as ever: "Trying to determine what is going on in the world by reading newspapers is like trying to tell the time by watching the second hand of a clock."
