Well, the only thing that was really different is that we didn't meet with Michael to promote our company. He was a scheduled to be a speaker for our conference (thenextweb.org) and we had plans for dinner. His friend told us to wake him up and we were wearing the suits for something else.

But who cares about the truth? It was presented as a kind of anecdote and it doesn;t really change the story that much if you know the truth was different.

At least I didn't mind....

I admire Michael's disdain for the dead tree Press. Freddy V is your typically dilettante, he writes about Tech only because he didn't get a job at Newsweek.

Would love to see the video myself, Frank. And I certainly care about whether I accurately portrayed it.  I got the details from Arrington himself who mentioned it in the context of weirdos who show up unannounced at his doorstep. He said he didn't remember who the entrepreneurs were, otherwise I would have called them too. I'll circle back with him once I see the video and try to reconcile what you say you see and what Arrington told  me occurred. But you've caught me red handed on the subject of the video cameras. I didn't think to ask Arrington if his intruders were carrying them. What WAS I thinking?
