Lots of news in the world yesterday, what with the election and all, the price of oil, the economy, various mergers and acquisitions, inflation, news from the Fed, etc. So it was with relief that I noted that the news nose for the revamped WSJ is as keenly tuned as ever it was, with this incredibly insightful piece on the demise of the Tie Association. What wasn’t noted in this story was that even as I type the forces of Freedomworks and their allies at AngryRenter are mobilizing their minions to lobby on behalf of the beleaguered tie makers of the U.S. So breathe easier tie wearing guys!
